Tomorrow I'm flying back to London, where I lived in 2006! I'm incredibly excited as I have always awaited returning since I left. I'll be staying with my uncle for almost two weeks and I plan to do LOTS of art.

Hopefully I'll be doing two art courses, one two day workshop in life drawing and one three day workshop in general drawing and painting. I'm looking forward to the life drawing course because I don't usually get to draw and paint from models (except for when I get my very impatient sister to sit still for 15 minutes). I haven't actually applied for either (yet) so I hope that there are places left!

Sometimes art courses can be really bad, like when they try to get you to experiment with modern art for a bit, so hopefully it won't be like that. I'm rather stubborn and like to do what I want in art and prefer to be advised rather than taught.

I also hope that I'll be able to borrow an easel from somewhere and do at least one painting outside.

That's the plan, anyway.
